We’ve all heard the phrase: “Live life like it depends on it.”

But truthfully… how many of us actually do?

I’ve caught myself pushing things off more times than I’d like to admit. “I’ll get to it later.” “When I’m more rested.” “When I feel ready.” Meanwhile, stuff builds up, things I know would make a real difference if I just did them.

Sometimes it’s organizing, sometimes it’s finally showing up for my health, sometimes it’s that creative idea that’s been tapping me on the shoulder for months. But still, I wait.

It’s not that life is always chaotic, it’s that it’s always offering distractions. And sometimes, we convince ourselves we’re too busy for what really matters. But deep down, I know that’s not the full story.

It’s not life stopping me. It’s me… postponing what I know matters.

And then life has its own way of nudging us…hard. A moment where you’re forced to wake up. Health issues. A relationship slipping through your fingers. A feeling that you’re drifting away from the version of you that you were supposed to become.

I don’t want to wait for the crash anymore.

I want to show up before I’m forced to.

I want to make moves now because the future I want depends on it. My peace depends on it. My alignment depends on it.

So if there’s something that’s been waiting on you, ask yourself honestly:

Is it really time that’s holding you back or the fear of starting?

Because the truth is, the “perfect moment” probably isn’t coming.

So now, when I catch myself hesitating, I ask:
What am I waiting for and is it really worth the wait?

What’s one thing you’ve been putting off that your future self is begging you to start today?
